hyperbaric means heavier then spinal fluid, so from our needle on L4L5 level it will go down to S2S4  and create only sensory block , no motor block, patient can push during second stage

 

isobaric would be like this:

isobaric, as you can see , stays on the same level as needle is —patient will not be able to move her legs, can not push during second stage,we do not want it.
